Job Opportunity At Optum - Torrance

We are looking for Full-Time or Part Time Physicians to join our team. Position highlights include a quality vs. quantity model, typically seeing around 18 20 patients per day with scheduled weekly administrative time. Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team of health care providers and benefit from dedicated support staff. This position does not require call or urgent care shifts, focusing on outpatient care only, although urgent care shifts are optional for additional pay. Office hours are Monday Friday, 8 AM 5 PM, with no nights or weekends.

Compensation and benefits include a guaranteed base plus an annual bonus structure based on quality and performance metrics. Comprehensive benefits cover health, vision, and dental. There is a leadership pathways and partnership program, student loan repayment for 2024 FM/IM new grads, and PTO accrual increases with tenure. CME reimbursement and related time off, paid license renewals, malpractice tail coverage, and a 401k with match are also provided. Required qualifications include a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.), Doctor of Osteopathic (D.O.), or M.B.B.S, board certification or eligibility in Family or Internal Medicine, an active, unrestricted medical license in CA, and a valid DEA license. Preferred qualifications include 1+ years of experience in a managed care setting and bilingual Spanish. Open to new grads!
