Medical Office CoordinatorThe Medical Office Coordinator is responsible for front office functions of the medical practice. This role ensures efficient administrative workflows, high-quality patient service, and compliance with healthcare regulations.Responsibilities include:Assist with all front office functions including patient relations, check-in/check-out, scheduling, insurance verification, and answering phones.Welcomes and greets all patients and visitors, in person or over the phone.Registers new patients and updates existing patient demographics by collecting detailed patient information including personal and financial information.Schedule appointments and manage patient flow.Ensure the timeliness and accuracy of patient charge entry into the billing system and assist with collecting and recording co-pays.Handle patient inquiries, concerns, and complaints.Order and manage office supplies and equipment.Maintains a clean, inviting, and friendly environment.Qualifications:Education Required:High school graduate or equivalentExperience Required:Minimum of one year in the medical office setting.Excellent communication and organizational skills.Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems and Microsoft Office Suite.Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.Preferred Skills:Knowledge of computers, faxes, printers, and all other equipment.Proficient in MS Office programs (i.e., Word, Excel, Outlook, Forms, Access, and Power Point).Ability to deal with responsibility with confidential matters.Ability to work in a multi-task, high-stress environment.USD $16.00/Hr.
