As we strive to innovate and build a better model of care for kids, the role of the Behavior Technician or RBT (Registered Behavior Technician) becomes paramount. Through our specialized approach, we empower these children, guiding them towards their full potential. Our methods draw from the principles of the Early Start Denver Model (ESDM), a play-based form of Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) therapy. By joining our team, you'll contribute significantly to our mission-driven care model. Key Responsibilities: Provide one-on-one ABA therapy to children aged 2-6 in our clinic, adhering to the profession's high standards Implement intervention plans crafted by our expert Masters-level clinicians, ensuring alignment with Applied Behavioral Analysis therapy principles Foster relationships with families, consistently updating them on their child's progress within the ABA framework Engage in ongoing training and development, keeping up-to-date with advancements in ABA therapy and RBT certification Qualifications: High school diploma, or equivalent, is required Strong preference for either enrollment in or completion of a degree program. Bonus for degrees in Child Development, Psychology, or related fields Ability to achieve and maintain RBT certification within first 6 weeks of employment(CHOP - Soar Autism Centerwill provide paid training) Previous experience with children and enjoyment working with children Must have reliable transportation to both training location and local center. Punctuality isessential Must be able to meet the following physical requirements: sit and stand frequently, shift positions quickly, lift up to 50 lbs., sit/kneel on the floor for extended periods of time, sit in a chair, stand, walk, and occasionally run short distances to catch up with a client Computer and tablet literacy Ability to work on a team What We Offer: $21.50 - $28.50/hour with regular bonus and promotion opportunities. The initial offer hourly pay will be between $21.50 - $22.75.
