Regulatory Compliance Manager

We have been retained to find a Regulatory Compliance Manager for a grow food company in the Chicagoland area! The company has a great culture, a plan for growth and great leadership. If you have a passion for Regulatory Compliance we should be talking. This role has responsibility for leading 3 Regulatory Specialist and reports to the Director of Technical Services. It develops product nutrition and ingredient information for product labels for the US market and Canada with some export requirements. Oversees and maintains product label ingredient databases and nutrition facts panels. Works with customers and R&D on formula design to ensure compliance to regulatory requirements. Works with Sales and R&D as part of commercialization process for new products. Responds to nutritional and regulatory technical inquiries for both internal and external customers. Qualifications BS degree with a preference for Food Science or other science degree Experience with food product label regulations Familiarity with USDA, FDA and international guidelines Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions Ability to interpret a variety of technical information in mathematical and/or narrative form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables Understanding of quality control processes related to the food processing industry Ability to be respectful, approachable and team oriented while building strong working relationships and a positive work environment Location: Chicagoland area Seniority level Mid-Senior level Employment type Full-time Job function Quality Assurance Industries: Food and Beverage Manufacturing #J-18808-Ljbffr Greven Executive Search
