Research Analyst

Job Duties

Our client, a leading commercial real estate services and investment management firm, is seeking a Research Analyst, Investor Insights to join its Global Think Tank team. This individual will support the production of capital markets research, investor presentations, and thought leadership materials while helping modernize processes through AI-assisted and automated workflows. The position will work closely with research leaders and business stakeholders to manage data, create presentations, and deliver timely market insights. This is a fully remote, 5 month contract with an 8-5 schedule.

Job Responsibilities:

• Support AI-assisted workflows used for data retrieval, research production, and reporting activities

• Identify opportunities to automate recurring processes and improve operational efficiency

• Update and maintain capital markets and investor presentation decks

• Assist with the creation and maintenance of sector-specific research presentations

• Contribute to the development of thought leadership reports and market commentary

• Source, organize, validate, and maintain research datasets

• Build charts, graphs, exhibits, and visual reporting materials for executive audiences

• Develop customized presentations for brokers, clients, and capital markets stakeholders

• Support rapid-response market research projects and time-sensitive deliverables

• Prepare briefing materials, talking points, and analytical summaries for internal and external presentations

Qualifications:

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint

• Experience sourcing, cleaning, validating, and analyzing data

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Demonstrated experience utilizing AI tools to improve business processes or productivity

• Ability to create clear, executive-level presentations and reporting materials

• Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines

• Interest in commercial real estate, capital markets, economics, or investment research

• Experience with SQL, Snowflake, Power BI, Tableau, or similar analytical tools preferred

• Experience with Python or willingness to learn automation and data analysis tools preferred
