How We Work At Proofpoint you’ll be part of a global team that breaks barriers to redefine cybersecurity guided by our BRAVE core values: Bold in how we dream and innovate Responsive to feedback, challenges and opportunities Accountable for results and best in class outcomes Visionary in future focused problem-solving Exceptional in execution and impact The Role The Professional Services Consultant will oversee implementations and consultative engagements for the Proofpoint Data Security products, including Endpoint DLP, Insider Threat Management (ITM) SaaS, Email DLP, Cloud Application Security Broker (CASB), SaaS Isolation & Adaptive Access Control (AAC), Data Security Posture Management (DSPM), Insider Threat Detection (ITD), ITM On-Premises, and Proofpoint Isolation. Key responsibilities include: Thoroughly scope engagements through assessing the client’s operations and business processes, gathering key business and functional requirements, and making recommendations to optimize Proofpoint technologies. Provide strategic program design solutions that allow clients to identify, protect, monitor, and manage their most protected data and people. Work with the broader Professional Services, Support, Engineering, and Product teams to address customer concerns and manage escalations. Work closely with your corresponding sales organization to ensure customer needs are met and customer satisfaction continues to rank high. Present updates to management identifying risks, challenges, and proposed solutions. Additional duties include assisting with customer escalations, developing new services, implementing best practices, and supporting the migration of legacy DLP solutions to Proofpoint’s Platform. What You Bring to the Team 8+ years industry experience in a customer-facing role 8+ years of experience in IT consulting or related fields Familiarity with Data Security: Insider Threat Management, Endpoint Security, Cloud Security, Data Security Posture Management, and/or Identity Threat Detection concepts Clear and effective communication skills, both written and verbal Demonstrated organizational abilities with a keen eye for detail Commitment to delivering exceptional client service, with confidence to engage in-person and virtually Proven ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and follow through to completion English proficiency in both technical and non-technical communication (required) Desired Skills Proficiency in Active Directory, Entra ID (Azure AD), GPO management, and PowerShell scripting Experience with identity security tools, deep knowledge of identity-centric indicators of compromise, and understanding of deception-based detection Proficiency in Windows Server environment; experience with web infrastructure components like IIS and MS SQL Basic understanding of Linux infrastructure Exposure to Microsoft or Symantec DLP solutions Technical Spanish speaking skills desirable Benefits Competitive compensation Comprehensive benefits Career success on your terms Flexible work environment Annual wellness and community outreach days Always on recognition for contributions Global collaboration and networking opportunities EEO Statement We encourage applications from individuals of all backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives.
