Location: Cedar Rapids, IA
Pay: $15.00 per hour Weekly Pay Average $600.00 per week
Schedule: Monday-Friday 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM -No Weekends
Employment Type: Temporary to Hire / Full-Time
Immediate Start Available with steel toed shoes
Position Overview
We are hiring a Warehouse Associate for a major national cable company in Cedar Rapids. This is a stable, full-time, temp-to-hire position with a clear path to permanent employment. You will work in a team environment to pull cable orders, manage incoming and outgoing inventory, supplies, and tools. You may also test customer cable boxes and equipment to ensure field technicians have exactly what they need.
Key Responsibilities
Pull cable orders. Read small serial numbers and identification tags accurately.
Receive, inventory, issue, and ship materials, tools, and equipment in the cable warehouse.
Test and reconcile customer premise equipment (CPE) like cable boxes and modems.
Load and unload warehouse materials and supplies using a forklift or pallet jack. (will be trained)
Use hand and power tools including drills, wrenches, and screwdrivers.
Communicate clearly with team members and managers regarding inventory.
Requirements
Ability to lift up to 70 pounds independently
Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
Willingness to drive a company 26-foot box truck after 3 months
Ability to pass a national criminal background check (no DUIs in past 5 years, no record in past 7)
Strong attention to detail and must have good vision to read small labels
Basic math, great English and communication skills
