Machinist Job Responsibilities Operate traditional manual milling machine, lathe, saws, and using hand tools Operate CNC Lathes and Mills Constantly inspect work-in-progress Multi-task through various jobs and priorities Interpret engineering drawings Machinist follows instructions set for the by machine shop lead man. Qualifications Minimum five (5) years of operating a manual milling machine, lathe, saws, and using hand tools. Interpret engineering drawings. Possess solid math skills, including 3D space geometry. Verifiable CNC Training. Minimum 2 years CNC on the job machining experience. Willing to attend CNC classes during personal time. Bilingual – English and Spanish helpful.
