Staff Dentist — Modern Clinic, Great Culture, $125k-$165k

Position Overview: As a Staff Dentist, you will diagnose and treat diseases, injuries, and malformations of teeth and gums, along with related oral structures. You will perform examinations to determine the nature of dental conditions and administer appropriate treatments to improve patient oral health. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough examinations to diagnose dental conditions.
• Provide preventive dental services such as cleanings, sealants, and fluoride treatments.
• Educate and instruct patients on proper oral hygiene practices.
• Repair injured and diseased teeth effectively.
• Administer local and block anesthesia for routine dental treatments.
• Fabricate dental prostheses for the replacement of missing or damaged teeth.
• Direct and supervise skilled and semi-skilled dental staff as necessary.

Job Relationship:

• Reports To: Dental Director
• Supervisory Responsibilities: Secondary supervisor to Hygienist, Expanded Duty Chair-side Assistants, Dental Assistants, and all other dental staff employees.

Multiple Location Open: New Iberia, Lafayette, Abbeville, LA Qualifications:

1. Education: Graduate of an approved and accredited Dental School.
2. Licenses, Registration, and/or Certifications Required:

• Licensed to Practice Dentistry in the State of Louisiana.
• Possess a Dental School Diploma, Board Certification Notification, and/or be Board Eligible in a primary care dental specialty.
• Federal and State DEA Certificates.

3. Skills and Abilities:

• Perform single restoration crowns safely and efficiently.
• Execute Endodontics procedures safely and efficiently.
• Manage Removable Prosthodontic and Repairs.
• Perform denture relining safely and efficiently.
• Complete fixed prosthodontics safely and efficiently.
• Meet or exceed annual productivity standards.
• Utilize technology to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in dental practice.
