Job Opportunity – Emergency Department Registered Nurse – North Carolina

Start Date: September 16, 2026

Location: North Carolina

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 6-week contract; 48 hours per week guaranteed with overtime available after 48 hours; every other weekend required; must be available for all shifts to meet departmental needs

• 101-bed Emergency Department at a Level 2 Trauma Center and Comprehensive Stroke Center
• High-volume ED with over 100,000+ annual visits serving a diverse, multicultural community
• Typical patient ratios of 4:1 for medical patients, with supportive techs, unit clerks, and specialized cardiac monitoring teams
• Electronic medical records utilizing Cerner; modern equipment including Baxter pumps and GE monitors
• Strong team-oriented culture known for welcoming personalities and collaborative environment
• Four-hour hospital orientation followed by an eight-hour floor shift

Requirements:

• Active RN license
• Minimum of 2 years' nursing experience with at least 1 year in an Emergency Department setting
• Level 2 Trauma Center and high-volume ED experience required
• ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, and NIHSS certifications required prior to start
• ENPC certification within 90 days of hire
• Flexibility to work in all sections of the Emergency Department (no external floating required)
• Strong teamwork mentality with the ability to provide real-time coaching and feedback
