Japanese-English Transcriptionist

Apply Japanese and English language expertise to help train next-generation AI systems through accurate, context-aware transcription and linguistic feedback. Key Responsibilities

• Accurately transcribe audio and written materials between Japanese and English.
• Review and edit transcripts to preserve linguistic accuracy and contextual meaning.
• Provide linguistic feedback that improves transcription processes.
• Collaborate with remote team members to meet project quality standards.
• Manage multiple transcription assignments, meet deadlines, and deliver polished work.
• Communicate clearly with team members in writing and verbally.

• Native or near-native Japanese proficiency and strong English command.
• Experience in transcription, translation, or related language services.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both languages.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, organization, and time management.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment.
• Proficiency with transcription tools and digital collaboration platforms.

• Experience with bilingual transcription projects.
• Familiarity with technical terminology across multiple industries.
• Background in language studies, linguistics, or a related field.

• Remote contract engagement.

• $30 to $65 per hour.
