About the Role:

Superior Cleaning Solutions LLC is looking for a motivated and experienced Custodian Supervisor to lead our cleaning team in Chicago, IL and surrounding suburbs. This is a great opportunity to take ownership of facility cleanliness operations while building and mentoring a dedicated crew. Responsibilities:

• Supervise, train, and schedule custodial staff to ensure efficient daily operations
• Inspect facilities to verify cleaning standards and quality control are consistently met
• Assign cleaning tasks and manage workloads across multiple areas or sites
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies, equipment, and janitorial products
• Enforce proper use of cleaning chemicals and safety protocols (OSHA compliance)
• Address and resolve facility maintenance or cleanliness issues in a timely manner
• Communicate with clients and management regarding service expectations and feedback

Requirements:

• 2+ years of custodial, janitorial, or facilities maintenance experience required
• Prior supervisory or team lead experience strongly preferred
• Knowledge of commercial cleaning techniques, equipment, and sanitation standards
• Familiarity with OSHA safety guidelines and proper chemical handling procedures
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to lead a team with professionalism
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred

Compensation: $25.00 per hour
