PROGRAMS ASSOCIATE

The Programs Associate plays a vital support role in advancing Fear 2 Freedom’s (F2F) sexual assault prevention and survivor advocacy initiatives. This position works closely with the programs team to support the planning, coordination, and execution of F2F’s programs and related outreach efforts. This opportunity is for individuals seeking meaningful hands‑on experience in nonprofit programming, community engagement, and event logistics while contributing to a mission‑driven organization. Program & Event Support Assisting the programs team in planning and preparing for Hour 2 Empower (H2E) programs. Continuing engagement after virtual and in‑person programs by conducting thoughtful oral and written follow‑up with participants and hosts, partnering with the Programs Coordinator to respond to inquiries, providing resources, collecting feedback, sharing gratitude, and tracking program impact. Track program data and update department documents. Assist with outreach efforts to secure program bookings and solicit new opportunities. Prepare and pack materials for F2F events. Attend community and programming events with staff that help further F2F’s mission. Assist with vendors, sponsors, volunteers, and community partners to ensure successful execution of F2F events, special events, and community outreach as needed. Community Engagement & Outreach Assist in coordinating with community partners to support F2F Kit distribution for current and upcoming events. Assist with coordinating the collection of in‑kind donations. Build & maintain relationships with student groups. Logistics & Administrative Support Manage incoming shipments by receiving and inspecting deliveries, documenting quantities and condition of materials, updating inventory records, and organizing supplies within the warehouse or storage areas. Manage warehouse inventory (inclusive of AfterCare kits, iCare kits, and merchandise). Process and record in‑kind donations. Complete Gift‑In‑Kind Form and notify the CEO to ensure timely distribution of donor tax receipt and thank you. Organize and facilitate shipping needs for program events and merchandise orders. Assist with other mission related tasks and maintain office day‑to‑day with the F2F team as needed. Maintain a clean warehouse environment. Maintain F2F’s organizational vehicle, including scheduling routine maintenance, coordinating repairs, ensuring cleanliness and operational readiness. Coordinate with the Chief Operating Officer (COO) to ensure all vehicle documentation is current, compliant, and properly maintained in the vehicle, including registration, inspection certificates, insurance records, and other required compliance‑related documents. Position Requirements 0‑3 years of experience. Bachelor’s Degree preferred. Interest in nonprofit work, community outreach, event planning, or social impact initiatives. Strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a collaborative environment. Comfortable working independently with initiative. A positive, welcoming attitude and outstanding internal/external customer service skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to handle sensitive topics with professionalism and empathy. Basic research and data tracking skills. Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Suite required.
