Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Bring your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist to an engaging contract role supporting students in an elementary school setting. This onsite opportunity allows you to make a direct impact on children with a variety of disabilities, providing services that foster their communication skills, academic growth, and confidence.

This position, beginning July 6th and concluding August 14th, offers a consistent weekday schedule (Monday through Friday, 8:15am–2:15pm) totaling 27.5 hours per week. You’ll join a collaborative school environment dedicated to student success as you work with an elementary caseload.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Current NY state certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist, with SLP-CCC credentials required
• Experience working with school-age children, preferably in an elementary setting
• Demonstrated ability to assess, develop, and implement effective therapy plans for a range of disabilities
• Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
• Ability to collaborate with students, families, teachers, and support staff

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech-language services to elementary-age students with diverse needs
• Develop individualized therapy plans and goals based on student assessments
• Maintain accurate and timely records of student progress and session notes
• Consult and collaborate with educational teams to support each student's learning plan
• Participate in meetings and contribute to the development of IEPs as needed
• Foster an inclusive, supportive, and engaging learning environment onsite
