Semble, an affiliate of Brookshire Construction, is seeking a skilled and reliable Panel Shop Carpenter to join our production team. The successful candidate will be responsible for manufacturing high-quality wood wall panels and structural components. This role involves reading production drawings, operating saws and nail guns, and assembling components to meet strict production schedules and quality standards. Top reasons to work with us:Dominate market leaderFull-time steady work year roundMedical, dental, and vision insurance after 60 days of full-time employment.Vacation and holiday pay401(k) planHourly Rate: $18.00-$25.00/hr. depending on experienceKey Responsibilities:Read and interpret shop drawings, blueprints, and production orders to lay out, cut, and assemble wooden wall panels, rafters, and trusses.Cut raw lumber and sheathing to precise measurements using radial arm saws, table saws, and chop saws.Utilize pneumatic tools, including framing nail guns and staple guns, to join components quickly and securely.Maintain a fast-paced work environment, aiming for high production efficiency without sacrificing quality.Strictly follow all OSHA and internal shop safety protocols, including the use of PPE, machine guarding, and safe material handling.Perform routine maintenance and cleaning on hand tools and power equipment to ensure they are in safe working order.Required Qualifications:Minimum 1-3 years of experience in framing or manufacturing shop environments.Proven ability to operate hand and power tools, including nail guns, saws, and pneumatic equipment.Strong understanding of basic math, including fractions, and the ability to read a tape measure precisely.Ability to read and interpret technical production drawings.Ability to stand for long periods, walk, bend, and lift up to 75 pounds consistently. Semble is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
