Maintenance Technician

Hourly Rate: $30.00-$35.00/hr. based on experience
Key Responsibilities:
- Equipment Troubleshooting: Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues on production machinery.
- Preventive Maintenance (PM): Execute scheduled PMs to maximize Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) and prevent unplanned breakdowns.
- Machine Upkeep: Dismantle devices, replace defective parts, and test equipment to verify repairs meet manufacturing standards.
- Air tool maintenance: perform regular preventative maintenance on Paslode air tools.
- Continuous Improvement: Assist in process improvements, set up changeovers, and train production operators on routine equipment care.
- Documentation: accurately log all maintenance activities, track labor hours, and manage spare parts inventory.
- Safety & Compliance: strictly adhere to all safety regulations, OSHA guidelines, maintain a clean work area.
Required Qualifications:
- Experience: 5+ years of versatile industrial maintenance experience.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong aptitude for reading electrical schematics, engineering blueprints, and machinery manuals.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., stand for long shifts, and work in various environmental conditions (e.g., heat, cold, or high-noise areas).
- Tools: Proficiency with basic hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring devices.
