Lumber Yard Worker
Pay: $18.00/Hr
Schedule: Monday-Friday, some Saturdays with overtime | Day Shift
Location: North Plains, OR

GLISS is hiring dependable and hardworking individuals for a busy lumber yard in North Plains. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates seeking long-term employment in a hands-on, team-oriented environment. Job Duties Include:
- Varied positions throughout the lumber yard
- Receiving, handling, and organizing lumber products
- Wrapping, packing, and palletizing wood products
- Operating large industrial saws and hand tools (training provided)
- Stacking, sorting, and organizing lumber
- Preparing materials for shipment
- Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. throughout the shift
Requirements:
- Previous warehouse, production, or lumber yard experience is a plus, but not required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment
- Comfortable standing, bending, lifting, and working with lumber throughout the day
- Ability to follow instructions and work safely as part of a team
- Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic
- Steel-toe boots required
- Working in all weather
- Site is not bus accessible- must have reliable transportation
