Technical Business System Analyst
Location: Newark, NJ (ONSITE)
Contract
Job Summary: Seeking an experienced Technical Business Systems Analyst with strong Financial Services/Capital Markets expertise to support data-driven initiatives and BAU data provisioning. The role involves requirement gathering, data analysis, production support, issue resolution, and collaboration with business and technology teams to deliver high-quality data products in an Agile environment.

- Requirements Gathering & Process Mapping
- Agile/Scrum Methodologies
- Data Quality, Reconciliation & Governance
- Production Support & Root Cause Analysis
- System Integration & Data Flow Analysis
Experience Required:
- 5+ years as a Technical Business Analyst, Business Systems Analyst, or Data Analyst within Financial Services.
- Strong SQL skills for complex query writing, data validation, and issue investigation.
- Experience supporting investment, trading, risk, operations, or regulatory reporting platforms.
- Ability to translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills across Front Office, Risk, Operations, and Technology teams.
Preferred:
- CFA (completed or pursuing)
- Exposure to automation, process optimization, and data governance initiatives.
- Experience working with global delivery teams.
