Role: MRI Technologist (PRN) Responsibilities: Operate MRI scanners to produce quality images for accurate diagnoses, interview and prepare patients, position them appropriately, perform procedures, assess patient needs, document studies, and ensure high-quality protocols. Participate in training and orientation of staff and students, maintaining thorough knowledge of scanners and exam protocols. Qualifications & Skills: Current registration as an MRI Technologist (ARRT MR or ARMRIT), BLS certification, graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program, with preferred one year MRI experience. Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment. Requires critical thinking, organization, attention to detail, and professional discernment. Key Duties: Properly position patients, perform procedures, respond to patient needs, complete documentation, and ensure quality imaging. Also, contribute to staff training and stay updated on scanner protocols.
