Corrosion Technician

Description

As a Corrosion Technician, you'll be out in the field protecting critical energy infrastructure, collecting corrosion measurements, evaluating system conditions, and helping ensure the long-term safety and reliability of pipeline systems. This is an opportunity to gain hands-on experience with specialized testing equipment, learn industry-leading corrosion control practices, and work alongside experienced professionals who will help you build valuable technical skills from day one

• This position pays between $30 and $37 hourly and is an non exempt position. The specific amount within this range will be influenced by the work location and various factors such as internal equity, professional skills, work experience, and pertinent education or training.

• Benefits offered include company-sponsored medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) plan with company match. Also offered are tuition reimbursement, voluntary life, disability, critical illness, accident and hospitalization plans. HSA or FSA medical accounts and FSA dependent care and transportation/parking accounts are also available. These benefits are subject to employee contribution amounts generally set annually. Full-time employees are eligible to earn PTO hours. May be eligible for discretionary bonus as determined by the company.

Required Qualifications

• An appropriate technical degree or background

• 0-2 years of work experience in corrosion, petrochemical, or related industries

• Basic computer skills related to the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

• NACE CP1 certification

• Ability to pass client OQ exams

Preferred Qualifications

• NACE CP2 certification
