Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Make a positive difference as a Therapeutic Learning Classroom Teacher supporting students in grades 1-4 for the 2026-2027 school year. Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Pennsylvania Instructional Certification in Special Education (PK–8 or equivalent)
• Prior experience teaching special education, especially in elementary grades
• Familiarity with TEACCH, PECS, ABA, or other structured teaching models is strongly desired
• Training in restorative practices, trauma-informed care, or positive behavior supports
• Ability to build trusting relationships with students, families, and colleagues
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills
• Commitment to professional development and continuous learning

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized instruction aligned with IEP goals for students in grades 1-4
• Utilize structured interventions and teaching models to support student learning and positive behaviors
• Foster a therapeutic classroom culture that emphasizes respect, safety, and emotional well-being
• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure students’ needs are met
• Maintain accurate progress monitoring and contribute to IEP meetings
• Communicate effectively with families and caregivers to support student success
