Senior Accountant

Position Title: Senior Accountant Salary: $60,000 – $73,000 Summary Handles financial reporting, month‑end close, general ledger maintenance, and compliance with GAAP. Supports audits, prepares accruals, and assists with regulatory filings and accounts payable. Key Responsibilities Month-End Close & General Ledger Lead month-end close for multiple entities Prepare and post journal entries, including accruals and adjustments Reconcile general ledger accounts and resolve discrepancies Maintain chart of accounts and ensure report accuracy Coordinate with departments to gather inputs and explain variances Financial Reporting & Analysis Compile monthly financial reports for leadership and departments Respond to inquiries on budget performance and variances Create ad-hoc reports and financial models using Excel Accounts Payable & Revenue Monitoring Support A/P functions and resolve issues Monitor revenue and receivables; elevate collection concerns Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field Minimum 2 years in accounting; healthcare experience preferred Proficient in Excel and accounting systems Strong communication, organization, and analytical skills #J-18808-Ljbffr
