Construction Litigation Associate Attorney

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Construction Litigation Associate Attorney with a strong foundation in construction law and civil litigation. The ideal candidate will have hands-on construction law experience and a genuine interest in developing deep expertise in construction litigation. Key Responsibilities

• Manage construction litigation matters from case inception through resolution.
• Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other litigation documents.
• Develop litigation strategies and support case preparation, discovery, depositions, and trial proceedings.
• Analyze construction contracts, project documentation, claims, and disputes.
• Handle construction defect matters and related litigation as applicable.
• Address bond, lien, and other construction-related legal issues.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and colleagues.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys while taking initiative and increasing responsibility for assigned cases.
• Maintain high standards of legal writing, analytical reasoning, accuracy, and client service.

Required Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• 3-8 years of attorney experience, with a minimum of 3 years of construction law experience.
• Demonstrated litigation experience and a strong understanding of construction-related legal matters.
• Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage responsibilities independently, exercise sound judgment, and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience handling construction defect litigation.
• Familiarity with construction bonds, liens, and related disputes.
• Experience managing litigation matters and supporting cases through trial.
