Board Certified Internal Medicine physicians work alongside physician assistants, nurse practitioners, certified diabetic educators, nutrition educators, and counseling professionals to deliver coordinated, comprehensive care. As an independent practice, Diley Medical Group is not owned by a hospital or large health system, allowing the team to choose the most appropriate testing and procedure sites for patients. The practice cares for individuals across multiple settings, including the office, hospital, outpatient surgery centers, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and rehabilitation centers. This collaborative, patient-centered environment offers physicians the opportunity to practice medicine with a high degree of clinical autonomy and continuity of care. Role Description The Primary Care / Internal Medicine Physician will provide comprehensive outpatient and inpatient medical care, including preventative services, chronic disease management, and acute care for adult patients. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting patient evaluations, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, developing and adjusting treatment plans, prescribing medications, and coordinating care with the multidisciplinary team. The physician will also provide patient education on disease prevention, lifestyle modification, and medication adherence, while documenting all encounters accurately in the medical record. In addition, the role involves collaborating with hospitals, outpatient surgery centers, and post-acute facilities to ensure seamless transitions of care. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Canal Winchester, OH. Qualifications Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Internal Medicine, with strong skills in adult primary care and chronic disease management. Proficiency in clinical assessment, diagnostic evaluation, and evidence-based treatment planning for diverse patient populations. Ability to collaborate effectively with physician assistants, nurse practitioners, diabetic educators, nutrition educators, and counseling professionals. Strong communication and interpersonal skills for patient education, shared decision-making, and coordination of care across multiple settings. Experience or comfort working in office, hospital, outpatient, and post-acute care environments, including nursing homes and assisted living facilities. Commitment to personalized, patient-centered care and preventive health, with sensitivity to different lifestyles and backgrounds. Current, unrestricted medical license (or eligibility) in the state of Ohio, DEA registration, and completion of accredited Internal Medicine residency.
