Financial Reporting Analysts

Job Summary The Financial Reporting Analyst II will ensure compliance and accuracy in financial reporting of sponsored projects, interpreting complex financial data, preparing reports, and collaborating with investigators and staff. Responsibilities Coordinate and execute financial closeout procedures for sponsored projects. Confirm all expenditures are allowable, allocable, and documented. Ensure compliance with Uniform Guidance, sponsor terms, and institutional policies. Prepare final financial reports, technical reports, invention, and inventory reports. Reconcile project budgets. Monitor cost transfers, payroll allocations, and award expenditures. Maintain accurate record of closeout activities and communications. Identify potential compliance issues. Minimum Qualifications 1 year of higher education can be substituted for 1 year of directly related work experience. Bachelor’s (or equivalency) + 2 years of experience, or Master’s (or equivalency) + 1 year of experience is required. Job levels I and II define specific experience and education combinations. Preferred Skills Strong proficiency in Excel and ERP systems such as PeopleSoft, SAP, and Oracle. Experience with financial reporting software. Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Customer‑service mindset and ability to thrive in a dynamic environment. Critical thinking and inquisitive outlook. Benefits & Compensation Pay Rate Range: $32,904.00 – $63,774.00.
