Job Description Summary

A Controls Tech will diagnose, troubleshoot, and maintain electrical equipment. Assist with project related design, installation, and commissioning of controls systems.

Job Duties

* Assist with troubleshooting and repair of down equipment.

* Ability to navigate ladder logic. Allen Bradley and Siemens.

* Ability to work with 24 DC to 480 volts AC.

* Ability to use test equipment such as a multi-meter, megger, phase rotation meter, and oscilloscope.

* Ability to read and understand blueprints and schematics.

* Ability and knowledge to troubleshoot and repair electrical problems of CNC mills, lathes, shapers, and forge press controls.

* Ability to learn Keyence laser software and 2D barcode software to make adjustments.

* Familiarity with Fanuc or Nachi robots for recovery, point adjustment and program change.

* Understand some aspects of project related design, installation, and commissioning.

* Basic understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic circuits / equipment.

* Assist with general parts research, as necessary.

* Analyzes and resolves machine and conveyor problems.

* Establishes or adjusts work processes to meet production schedules.

* Resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions.

* Able to drive a forklift, scissor lift / articulating arm boom truck.

* Work with Engineering on any process and 10 foot circle improvement.

* Other duties as assigned by your manager.
