Position Summary Scientific Games is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team who can strengthen infrastructure, improve deployment reliability, and help scale secure, high-performing platforms. In this role, you will work across infrastructure automation, CI/CD, system administration, container platforms, and observability. You will partner closely with engineering and operations teams to improve delivery efficiency, platform resilience, and operational excellence. Key Responsibilities Design, implement, and maintain infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) Build, optimize, and support CI/CD pipelines to improve release quality and speed Administer and support Linux-based systems across development and production environments Manage and enhance Kubernetes and containerized platforms Drive automation across infrastructure, deployments, and operational workflows Collaborate with software engineering teams to improve build, release, and deployment processes Monitor system health, performance, and reliability using logging and observability tools Troubleshoot infrastructure, deployment, networking, and platform issues Support secure platform operations, including secrets management and operational best practices Contribute to scalable, resilient, and maintainable DevOps standards across the organization Required Qualifications 5+ years of experience in DevOps, platform engineering, infrastructure engineering, or related roles Strong hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and system administration Experience with software development practices and continuous integration / continuous delivery Strong proficiency in Linux environments Strong understanding of Kubernetes, containerization, and orchestration concepts Solid knowledge of computer networking concepts Hands-on experience with tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Argo CD, Helm, Vault, New Relic, and Graylog Experience working with AWS cloud services and Azure cloud environments Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or Docker Certified Associate Experience supporting secure, highly available, and distributed production systems Familiarity with modern monitoring, automation, and platform reliability practices Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Excellent communication and collaboration skills Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field Qualifications Physical Requirements The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
