Frost Echols, LLC is an established firm that represents clients nationwide in the credit and collection industry but also in general civil litigation practice. Frost Echols has a challenging and exciting career opportunity for a detail-oriented paralegal to provide administrative, litigation, and ongoing research support to attorneys across multiple states. The firm’s ideal candidate will work daily from one of our office locations with various attorneys. We are looking for someone with strong organizational and task management skills. The position is open to individuals of various skill levels and work experience. Key Responsibilities Proficiently use various software programs including Office, Adobe, and legal software Assist with filing in state and federal courts across the country Maintain detailed organization of and support for a high volume of cases in a fast-paced environment Meet billing requirements of 5 hours each working day Understand and assist with all aspects of discovery in both state and federal courts Compile and analyze data Draft documents including letters, complaints, pleadings, and motions Serve as communication liaison between the assigned attorneys, clients, and opposing counsel Careful organization and maintenance of files and calendar associated with assigned matters Compose reports for lawyers regarding various aspects of a case Remain current on legal procedures and regulations as they relate to the paralegal’s field of practice Perform a variety of administrative tasks that will aid the effectiveness and efficiency of the attorneys Act as a team player and assist other paralegals as needed Provide clear and timely communication to assigned attorneys and the managing partner Requirements Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience, paralegal certification preferred What We Offer Competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) .
