Whether modifying aircraft to help protect our service members overseas, performing geographical mapping for scientific research, or working to suppress large wildfires on the West Coast, we serve with integrity and excellence.Position Summary: The IT Technician will provide maintenance of the computer desktop environment by analyzing requirements, resolving problems, installing and removing hardware and software from computer systems, and supporting the internal IT Help Desk. The IT Technician will be responsible for administration and internal support of the company's PC's, printers, scanners, and related equipment. Tasks include end user support, license tracking, ticket generation and completion, and performing PC maintenance, upgrades, and configurations. The qualified applicant will also work closely with IT Management to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.Key Responsibilities:Provides computer support via telephone, email and face-to-face contactTroubleshoots computer equipment when problems reportedEnsures that all hardware and software are installed and operating properlyAssists with onboarding of new usersMaintains inventory of all equipment, software, and software licensesReports hardware and software issues to vendors and coordinate supportPerforms timely workstation hardware and software upgrades as requiredDocuments internal proceduresMonitors Helpdesk for tickets assigned to the queue and process first-in first-out based on priorityAssists after hours to provide support as neededOther duties as assignedRequired Qualifications:Associate's degree in Information Systems, Business, Communications or related fieldExcellent problem-solving and customer service skillsAbility to multi-taskAbility to exhibit professional and patient conduct under pressure within a fast-paced team environmentStrong written and verbal communication skillsExperience with Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office Products. Professional certifications desiredDemonstrates working knowledge of current communications devices and protocolsDemonstrates analytical and troubleshooting skills with ability to troubleshoot end to end systemsStrong analytical, organizational, problem-solving and time-management skillsStrong teamwork, planning and coordination skillsSelf-motivation, adaptability and the ability to meet aggressive deadlinesPreferred Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business, Communications or related fieldIn lieu of degree, 5 to 6 years of experiences providing IT Helpdesk supportAdditional Requirements:Ability to obtain and maintain a DOD SECRET Clearance, as necessaryExperience with Active Directory, Microsoft Azure, Windows, and Microsoft Office products. Professional certifications, such as CompTIA A+Passport or work authorization requirements to work in the U.S.Working Conditions:Monday through Friday 8 am – 5 pm; flexible based on business needsProlonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computerFrequent use of hands and fingers for typing, writing, and operating office equipmentAbility to view computer screens for extended periods, with close vision and the ability to adjust focusOccasional standing, walking, bending, or reaching within the office environment and on aircraftAbility to lift and move items up to approximately 10–20 pounds (e.g., files, office supplies)Effective verbal and written communication abilitiesAbility to maintain focus and perform repetitive tasks with attention to detailRegularly works in office environment and around aircraft hangarsPay Band: $21.00-$27.16 per hour.
