Job Description
The Pool Service Technician is responsible for performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and seasonal services for residential and commercial swimming pools. This role requires strong technical ability, customer-service skills, and a commitment to doing the job right the first time.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional pool service experience (maintenance, repairs, openings/closings)
- Strong knowledge of pool water chemistry , circulation, filtration, and equipment
- Experience with pumps, filters, heaters, salt systems, automation, and plumbing
- Ability to diagnose and repair equipment efficiently
- Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
- Comfortable interacting with customers in a professional manner
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors in varying weather
Responsibilities
- Perform routine pool maintenance (vacuuming, brushing, chemical balancing)
- Conduct openings, closings, and weekly/biweekly service
- Inspect and troubleshoot pool equipment and systems
- Complete repairs and installations as needed
- Maintain accurate service records and communicate findings to customers
- Represent the company with professionalism and integrity
