This role assists in supervising store associates, coordinating daily activities such as opening and closing procedures, and maintaining visual merchandising and seasonal displays. The Assistant Manager helps manage inventory flow, ensures accurate stocking, and supports loss prevention practices. This position also assists with training team members, monitoring performance, and promoting a positive, fun, and safe work environment aligned with company standards. The role requires hands‑on leadership during peak seasonal traffic, flexible scheduling, and active participation in meeting sales and service goals. Qualifications Experience in retail or customer-facing environments with skills in customer service, sales support, and conflict resolution. Supervisory or team lead experience, including coaching staff, delegating tasks, and supporting performance management. Operational skills such as basic cash handling, point-of-sale (POS) system use, inventory assistance, and adherence to store policies and procedures. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a diverse and inclusive team setting. Ability to stand for extended periods, move merchandise, and work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Demonstrated reliability, attention to detail, and comfort in a fast‑paced, seasonal environment focused on fun and guest engagement. Previous experience in specialty, seasonal, or Halloween retail is a plus.
