Machine Operator (Press Operator)

Overview of the Role Sika is looking for experienced Machine Operator to join its growing team in Gastonia, NC. This position will assist the shift supervisor in coordinating the work of production employees involved in production activities. Requires knowledge of manufacturing processes and product. Operates manufacturing line. Requires the ability to vary prescribed operating conditions as necessary to produce quality parts. Changes and adjust operating conditions to maintain proper quality. What We Are Looking For! To operate one or more of the following: the mixing system calendar press hot melt embosser 1, 2, and 3 anti-sticking agent unit adhesive unit 1 and 2 U.V. unit magnetizing unit To start up the hot oil heater and water chillers Perform quality testing make corrections for out-of-spec conditions Ensure production scheduled to adhered to Assist in training new production employees Perform some maintenance on the press and report any needed repairs on the machines Assist in labeling and packing parts #J-18808-Ljbffr Sika AG
