Kaiser Permanente is seeking an Anesthesiologist for an independent contractor (1099) opportunity across its Modesto, Manteca, and Stockton Medical Centers in California's Central Valley. This role offers flexibility, autonomy, and consistent case volume in both hospital and ambulatory surgery center settings. Work across Modesto, Manteca, and Stockton Medical Centers in California’s Central Valley Practice in both hospital and ambulatory surgery center (ASC) settings Diverse case mix, including general surgery, orthopedics, OB, urology, ENT, vascular, and outpatient procedures Team-based anesthesia care model with experienced clinical leadership Integrated EMR system (Epic) across all sites Kaiser Permanente Modesto Medical Center is a modern, full-service hospital with advanced surgical services Provide comprehensive anesthesia care across a variety of surgical procedures Perform pre-anesthesia assessments and obtain informed consent Manage induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia Collaborate with surgeons, CRNAs, and perioperative staff to ensure optimal outcomes Participate in maintaining efficient OR flow and high-quality patient care 325/hour (1099 independent contractor) Shift & Schedule Flexible scheduling – choose shifts that fit your lifestyle Opportunities for ongoing coverage or supplemental income Completion of an accredited Anesthesiology Residency Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology Active, unrestricted California medical license (or ability to obtain) Ability to work as a 1099 independent contractor
