Step into an engaging, supportive environment as a valued Speech-Language Pathologist, working with students from kindergarten through high school for the 2026–2027 academic year. This is a full-time, contract role designed for professionals passionate about promoting communication, language, and success across pediatric and early childhood populations. You’ll have the chance to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, serve a diverse range of students, and tailor your focus depending on your background—from moderate to profound needs. Your expertise will shape students’ educational journeys while supporting their individual growth.
Preferred Qualifications and Skills:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active SLP licensure in Texas (or eligibility to obtain)
- Experience in pediatric, early childhood, and elementary settings
- Strong knowledge of assessment protocols, IEP development, and progress monitoring
- Superior communication and problem-solving skills
- Previous school-based SLP experience is advantageous, but enthusiastic new graduates are encouraged to apply
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop and implement therapy plans for K–12 students according to IEP requirements
- Work closely with classroom teachers, special education staff, and families
- Maintain accurate records and track progress
- Adjust interventions based on individual student needs and caseload demands
