Construction Accountant
Liberty Personnel Services, Inc.
We are seeking a detail-oriented Construction Accountant to support financial operations for construction projects in New York City. Key Responsibilities Manage project accounting across multiple active construction jobs. Prepare and submit accurate construction billings in a timely manner. Coordinate with project teams and subcontractors to ensure required documentation. Enter vendor and subcontractor invoices; obtain approvals and process payments. Maintain subcontractor accounts and communicate payment status. Input subcontractor and vendor commitments into the accounting system. Review monthly project cash flow and support funding requests. Participate in monthly cost reporting; verify costs, correct coding, and improve forecasting. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree (BS) in Accounting, Finance, or related field – mandatory 2–4+ years of project or construction accounting experience. Strong organizational and communication skills. Proficient with MS Office applications. Sage 300 and Procore experience – preferred You can expect a quick response once I receive your resume. This of course, is 100% confidential.
