Cath Lab Registered Nurse
Location: Charleston, South Carolina
Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule: Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM; Travelers are expected to work every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital employees.
Job Description: We seek an experienced Cath Lab Registered Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess advanced skills in emergency medication knowledge and have the ability to perform a variety of procedures including LHC, PCI, TAVR, PPM, Impella, and IABP.
Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic and interventional procedures in the Cath lab.
- Monitor patient status before, during, and after procedures.
- Administer emergency medications as needed and follow protocol.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient care.
- Participate in departmental meetings and continuing education activities.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- Minimum of 1 year of Cath Lab experience required.
- Active RN License required.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
