Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery (Nights)

Location: Las Colinas, TX

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Nights - 7 PM to 7 AM, 4 weekend shifts per month.

Job Description: The facility is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join the Labor and Delivery team on a night shift. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients in a 12-bed unit with a patient ratio of 2:1. The nurse will demonstrate proficiency in managing labor and delivery situations, including the circulation of C-sections.

Responsibilities

Manage patient care and labor delivery processes.
Perform circulatory duties during C-sections.
Monitor patient vitals and responses during labor.
Collaborate effectively with the healthcare team.
Document patient information accurately using Meditech.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery.
Current ACLS, BLS, and NRPFM certifications.
Active Texas RN License (temporary licenses are not accepted).
AWHONN certification preferred.
Experience with Meditech is a plus.
