Mechanical Technician, Launch Team

About The Role We are looking for a Production Technician to join our rapidly growing team in Ashville, OH. In this role, you will be responsible for assembly and integration of mechanical and/or electrical components. If you are highly motivated, a team player, and detail oriented with minimal oversight, this role is for you. This role requires candidates to relocate to Costa Mesa for a 3-month training program. Housing, transportation, and related arrangements will be provided during training. What You’ll Do Follow detailed blueprints, schematics, and instructions to assemble products or systems Use various hand tools and power tools to assemble components Combine subsystems or components into a larger, functioning system Ensure compatibility and proper communication between integrated components Maintain detailed records of assembly processes, test results, and issues encountered Follow safety protocols and procedures in the workplace Possibility for overtime and weekend shifts as needed Required Qualifications 1+ years of experience in a manufacturing setting (aerospace, electronics, or medical preferred) performing mechanical and/or electrical assemblies Proficient with common hand tools and power tools (e.g., pliers, wrenches, screwdrivers, calipers, dial indicators, multimeters, test equipment) Proficient with computer use (standard browser, word processing) Able to read wiring diagrams and follow assembly instructions Ability to adapt to changing roles/responsibilities in a fast-paced, challenging environment Effective verbal and written communication with engineering and production teams U.S. Citizen Required Preferred Qualifications Experience with aircraft or ground systems fabrication, repair, assembly, and operation including structural fabrication, composites fabrication, and avionics build/integration/test Experience assembling complex electro-mechanical components, wire harnesses, test racks, and related components Experience with validation and testing of electronic components using equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, network analyzers Experience with air-frame construction techniques (rivets, fasteners, nut plates, etc.) Hands-on experience with kit, model, or experimental aircraft builds Electronic box assembly troubleshooting and writing issue tickets Running functional checks and diagnosing issues during tests Testing and operating RF systems Troubleshooting extensively Loading firmware onto integrated digital systems Running LabVIEW scripts PCBA integration and troubleshooting Basic understanding of LEAN manufacturing principles Assist with kitting products, as needed Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (Engineering, Math, Hard Science, etc.) Forklift certification US Hourly Range
