Key Responsibilities

• Assist with Patient Treatment: You will support physical therapists during treatment sessions by implementing prescribed exercises, performing manual therapy techniques, and utilizing other therapeutic modalities, ensuring that each treatment plan is carried out efficiently.
• Patient Monitoring: Regularly observe and assess patient progress, adjusting therapy activities as needed based on their responses and rehabilitation goals to optimize outcomes.
• Patient Education: Provide clear and compassionate education to patients regarding their conditions, the importance of adherence to therapy, and strategies for effective home exercise.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient treatments and progress notes in accordance with legal standards and clinic policies to ensure continuity of care.
• Assist in Patient Mobility: Ensure the safety and comfort of patients by assisting them with transfers and ambulation during therapy sessions.
• Maintain Equipment: Regularly clean, check, and maintain all therapeutic equipment, ensuring it is ready for use and in excellent working condition.
• Collaborate with Therapists and Staff: Work jointly with the treatment team to enhance patient progress and adapt rehabilitation plans as necessary, fostering effective communication and teamwork.
• Provide Administrative Support: Assist with clinic operations, including scheduling patient appointments and ensuring smooth patient intake processes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with patients undergoing rehabilitation for orthopedic injuries, post-operative recovery, and chronic conditions, all requiring a compassionate touch and tailored therapeutic strategies. Qualifications

• Successful completion of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Current and valid California PTA license or eligibility to obtain one.
• Strong foundational knowledge of therapeutic exercises and orthopedic rehabilitation principles.
• Ability to perform fundamental physical therapy interventions as directed by supervising physical therapists.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills, fostering rapport with patients, families, and team members.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this role ranges from $280,000 to $300,000 per year, reflecting your experience and expertise.
