Volt is immediately hiring multiple Machinists in Tempe, AZ for both full-time and part-time weekend positions.


*Clean - Air-Conditioned Shop Environment*


As a Machinist , you will:

• Perform machine set-ups on various CNC equipment.
• Operate and oversee multiple machines throughout the shift in a fast?paced, multitasking environment.
• Work primarily on large mill and lathe projects , typically involving 50 parts or fewer per job.
• Utilize and maintain machines such as Bridgeport , DMG MORI , and 3-Axis Mills .
• Support operations involving horizontal mills and lathes .
• Manage palletized machine systems, including restocking pallets as needed.
• Ensure high?quality output and adherence to production standards.

This is a full-time, temp to hire opportunity.


Schedule :


Schedule 1 - Monday - Friday - 3:30pm to 12am


Schedule 2 - Friday - Sunday - 5am to 5:30pm


The ideal candidate will have:

• Previous CNC machine setup experience.
• Experience with horizontal mills , lathes , and large format machining.
• Familiarity with CMM programming or PC-DMIS (highly beneficial).
• Strong multitasking ability and comfort overseeing multiple machines.
• We will also consider candidates with no prior experience who are currently enrolled in a machining or technical program.

Payrate : $24.00 - $37.00 per hour DOE


*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
