ICU Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a skilled ICU Registered Nurse to join our Float Pool, providing care across multiple units as needed. This position involves working in a fast-paced environment where flexibility and adaptability are essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care in various settings, including ICU, MS/Tele, PCU, overflow, and PACU units.
• Administer medications and monitor patient progress.
• Conduct EKG exams and demonstrate proficiency to pass assessments during orientation.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team to ensure an optimal care experience.

Requirements

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years in an ICU setting.
• License: Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in California.
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIH Stroke certifications required.
• Travelers: First-time travelers are accepted if they have experience in a facility with 400 beds or larger.
• Specialized Skills: Experience with PA Line and Swan Ganz is required. Please do not apply if you lack this experience.
• Vaccination: Influenza vaccine is mandatory; no declinations are accepted.

Work Schedule

• Shift: Night shift from 19:00 to 07:30.
• Available options for 36 or 48-hour work weeks.
• Weekend shifts and floating between units is required.
• No scheduling requests can be accommodated; up to 7 days maximum availability, with no time off during the first two weeks of the assignment.
• MUST work 3 out of 5 holidays.
