Retail Service Supervisor

Job Summary The Retail Sales and Service Supervisor is a key member of the Division Leadership team responsible for the daily operations of technicians and retail business, driving growth and customer satisfaction while maintaining a focus on safety. Responsibilities Lead and develop service technicians, providing leadership, training, and coaching for optimal performance. Address performance issues promptly and ensure compliance with safety standards. Monitor gross profit and consumer budgets, track progress monthly, and provide performance updates to management. Set work priorities, evaluate workloads and schedules to maximize production. Order and distribute materials and equipment for scheduled jobs, ensuring all administrative guidelines are followed. Review invoices and paperwork submitted by field personnel daily to ensure accurate records. Ensure timely completion of required training for all team members. Oversee adherence to quality standards for all field and office work. Obtain necessary permits and ensure compliance with local code requirements when needed. Protect company assets by monitoring the handling of trucks, tools, and inventory. Hire new team members and maintain adequate staffing levels. Continuously seek process and operational improvements. Respond to additional duties as assigned and responsibilities that may vary by location. Minimum Requirements High school diploma or GED equivalent (experience may substitute for education). 5+ years HVAC or related experience. 5+ years sales experience. 3+ years experience leading a team. Computer competency, including Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook. Effective verbal and written communication skills in English. Valid driver's license. Ability to work overtime and weekends with little notice. Preferred Qualifications Prior experience as an HVAC Sales and Service Supervisor. Working Conditions Open office environment. Fast‑paced environment. Travel by vehicle to and from work locations. Occasional exposure to customer homes as needed. Comfortable working indoors and outdoors, exposed to all weather conditions while wearing appropriate PPE. Physical Requirements Lift/move up to 20 pounds frequently. Drive and operate a motorized passenger vehicle. Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) such as hard hat, safety glasses, ear plugs, masks/respirators, reflective vests, gloves, safety toe, and construction‑grade work boots. Stand, walk, or sit for long periods. Hear, understand, and distinguish speech and other sounds to operate phones or other office equipment safely. Have normal vision, including close, distance, peripheral vision, and depth perception. Express ideas verbally and enter text into a computer using a keyboard or 10‑key numeric keypad.
