Senior Business Development Manager, Staffing Industry - Chicago, IL Our client, a privately held $120M staffing organization with a strong reputation and tenured leadership team, is seeking an experienced staffing Senior Business Development Manager to drive growth across key markets. This is a high-impact role for a proven sales leader who thrives on building relationships, winning new business, and expanding market share in staffing and workforce solutions. What you’ll do Develop and execute strategic business development plans to drive revenue growth across target industries and accounts. Identify, prospect, and secure new client relationships at the executive and decision-maker level. Leverage the firm’s strong reputation and leadership team to win competitive opportunities. Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline through networking, referrals, and consultative selling. Collaborate with operations and recruiting teams to ensure seamless client delivery and satisfaction. Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements that align with company profitability goals. Provide market intelligence, competitor insights, and recommendations to leadership. Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and client meetings to strengthen brand presence. What you need 7+ years of progressive sales/business development experience in staffing or workforce solutions. Proven track record of exceeding revenue goals and building long‑term client partnerships. Strong network of client relationships in Chicago and/or surrounding markets. Consultative sales approach with excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, entrepreneurial environment with an established infrastructure. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred or equivalent experience. What you get Competitive base salary plus lucrative, uncapped commission structure.
