Registered Behavioral Therapist

Class: RBT
Note: Serve as District Staff to work under the supervision of the Behavior and Autism Coordinator and Behavior Specialist. Their role would be 37.5 hours per week, full time, face to face until at least the end of the school year. As students with the needs noted above move into the district and behavior referrals come into the department we would like to assign these RBT's to those cases. Each would go out and observe and support the student, coach staff on use of interventions that may be helpful to the student, collect data, etc. Placement length with each student varies depending on student needs. Some placements are short term (2-3 weeks) while other placements are longer term to get the student on the right track and support the teacher in implementing behavior management strategies.
