Job Title: Respiratory Therapist

License: RRT

Certifications: BLS, ACLS

Must-Have:
Candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.

Description:
The unit has a total of 437 beds and employs 60 staff members, including permanent staff and per diem help.
Each shift, approximately 44 to 46 procedures are performed.
The Respiratory Therapist provides treatment, care, and evaluation for patients with respiratory insufficiencies, including asthma, pneumonia, and emphysema.
Typical equipment used includes Servo I ventilators, nebulizers, Hamilton ventilators, V60 machines, Astral CPAP and BIPAP machines, ABGs, and CPT EMR systems.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong team-oriented mindset, be a critical thinker, and have a focus on patient care.
The team operates in a fast-paced environment that emphasizes collaboration with physicians.
Candidates with trauma experience and previous Meditech experience will be prioritized during the hiring process.
Dress code includes light grey attire for RRTs.
The department has received several accolades for its exceptional care and is recognized for its designation as a Certified Primary Stroke Center and for its outstanding heart attack treatment success over 11 consecutive years.
