Join our Wellness Services Team!
We are seeking a temporary Clerk to provide administrative and clinical medical services for our campus Wellness Department. This position is expected to last 4-6 weeks. Clerk would be scheduled for 30 to 40 hours each week.
General Duties:
- Answering the phone, greeting visitors and patients, scheduling appointments, processing and distributing mail, maintaining medical records and related files.
- Assists Wellness Manager and Nursing team to coordinate medical services for students.
- Ensures compliance with HIPPA and other applicable laws and regulations regarding patient privacy.
- Works in partnership with staff from all Departments to ensure effective services are provided to students.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent required. Computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Suites of applications required. Strong customer service and communication skills.
Experience in a medical office setting is preferred.
