It's fun to work in a company where people truly BELIEVE in what they are doing!We're committed to bringing passion and customer focus to the business.1st ShiftMonday - Friday11:00 AM - 7:30 PMPOSITION SUMMARY:As a Forklift Operator, you will operate equipment with lifting devices such as a reach truck, sit-down forklift to clamp, elevate platforms, push, pull, lift, stack, tier, or move products or materials.This position requires frequent interaction with various employees in the company, truck drivers, and the Forklift Operator is responsible for warehousing and handling of customer products. The responsibilities of this position require effective performance regarding safety, productivity, and quality.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Operates forklifts with various attachments and pallet jacks in compliance with safe operating proceduresLoad and unload trucksEffectively, timely, and respectfully communicate and interact with other employees, supervisors, individuals from other organizations, and customersSkilled capability with demonstrated ability to operate a Reach TruckProficient with following verbal and written instructionsUnloads and receives deliveries of customer products to ensure proper quantities, quality of the product, and proper documentation of the receiptPlaces product securely in appropriate warehouse locations to ensure that damage or misplacement does not occurRetrieves and loads customer products as directed on shipping documents to ensure proper quantities and item identificationRetrieves product for shipment based on assigned lot codes or production dates to ensure effective product rotationEnsures proper food safety and warehouse sanitation practices are implemented and that Company and customer assets are adequately protected and maintainedParticipates in product counting, relocation, and assigned inventory processesPerforms warehouse cleaning and equipment maintenance tasks, as assignedComply with Company policies and procedures to ensure efficient and consistent warehouse operationsEnsures the interface with customers and co-workers is being conducted in a manner that is conducive to operational goalsConduct oneself in a professional manner and ensure personal appearance meets the standards necessary to perform the job functions while representing the companyNeatly store supplies and empty containersGeneral housekeeping of the plant and surrounding areasClean and store safety equipment for re-useReport process and/or safety equipment issues to Warehouse SupervisorPerform proper forklift inspections and follow forklift operating guidelines and proceduresComply with all safety requirements within the companyComply with all Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements and safe handling practices as required from Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and company proceduresFollow WHMIS, MSDS and all other safety training requirements and proceduresFollow all government and regulatory requirements when handling and transporting chemical materialsPerform other duties as assigned or neededRegular and sustained attendanceMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:3-Years experience in a manufacturing and/or distribution facility3-Years experience operating a forklift3-Years experience operating a High Lift – Reach Truck2-Years experience with warehouse order selectionExperience with warehouse management softwareProficient in Microsoft Suite – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Dynamics [D365]Must be able to read and write load diagrams, shipping orders, and work instructionsMust be able to operate electronic equipment, such as RF scanners or radios as assignedPass forklift driving exam (pre-offer)Ability to collaborate effectively and efficiently with colleaguesEffective communication skills and time managementAbility to stand and/or walk for extended periods of timeEDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS:High School Diploma or GED equivalent#INDOPSDuBois provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, ancestry, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, marital status, religion, age, disability, gender identity, gender expression, genetic information, service in the military, veteran status, or any other protected status in accordance with applicable federal, state, and/or local law and/or regulation. #J-18808-Ljbffr
