Account Executive, LE GTS- Strategic Accounts

Overview Account Executives are solution‑oriented professionals who help high‑tech clients with critical challenges. They manage direct client contract value retention and drive growth through contract expansion by introducing new products and services. The role focuses on high‑revenue accounts (100–500 million USD annually) and requires leveraging cross‑functional collaboration to deliver outstanding account management. What you’ll do Consult with C‑level executives to develop and implement an enterprise‑wide strategy that improves the value delivered by Gartner products and services Manage accounts toward increased customer satisfaction, retention, and account growth Fulfill a quota responsibility of over 800 K USD in contract value within a territory of major client accounts Handle forecast accuracy on a monthly/quarterly/annual basis What you need 4–8 years of external experience with validated consultative sales and proven success Proficiency in account planning and territory management The ability to prospect and run C‑level and senior‑level relationships within midsize and large organizations Demonstrated intellect, drive, executive presence, and sales acumen Proven experience building excellent client relationships through offering beneficial, insightful, and strategic insights into their businesses Strong proficiency in computer skills Excellent written and oral presentation skills Knowledge of the full life cycle of the sales process, from prospecting to close Bachelor’s degree preferred What do we offer Gartner offers world‑class benefits, highly competitive compensation, and disproportionate rewards for top performers. Compensation for this role is estimated at $101,000 – $140,000 USD base, plus an annual bonus or uncapped sales incentive plan, and comprehensive benefits including generous PTO, a 401(k) match up to $7,200 per year, and the opportunity to purchase company stock at a discount.
