Nurse Practitioner Physician Job In Florida AdventHealth Medical Group West Florida Division is seeking a dedicated Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) to join a thriving and expanding Gastroenterology practice in Riverview, Florida. The APP will work collaboratively with gastroenterologists to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in both the outpatient and inpatient settings. This position offers an excellent opportunity to join a growing digestive health program while caring for a diverse patient population with a wide range of gastrointestinal disorders. Responsibilities Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with acute and chronic gastrointestinal conditions Conduct comprehensive patient histories and physical examinations Perform consultations, follow-up visits, and routine outpatient evaluations Provide inpatient GI consult support and rounding as needed Order, interpret, and communicate laboratory, imaging, and diagnostic test results Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians Educate patients and families regarding disease processes, treatment options, and preventive care Coordinate care with primary care providers, specialists, nursing staff, and ancillary services Document patient encounters accurately and efficiently in the electronic medical record Participate in quality improvement initiatives and practice development efforts Qualifications Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing from an accredited program Current Florida APRN license or eligibility for licensure National board certification as Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner (AGNP) Current BLS certification Benefits Competitive compensation Yearly Quality Incentive Bonus of up to $10k Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance effective on Day 1 Retirement savings program with employer contributions Paid malpractice coverage $4K CME allowance and 5 paid CME time Paid time off #J-18808-Ljbffr
