Marketing Specialist

We're Serve Freight, a values-based logistics company (non-asset freight brokerage and 3PL) headquartered in Asheville, NC. We move complex freight for construction and data center clients, and we care as much about how we serve people as the freight we move. Marketing is a function we're actively building, and this role is a ground-floor seat in that. The Role This is a hands-on execution role. Our marketing strategy is set by our leadership and marketing lead, and we need a sharp, driven operator to bring it to life across channels. You'll do a lot of the work yourself, and where specialized help makes sense (paid media, for example), you'll find and coordinate contractors to get it done well. You will be the connective tissue of our marketing: the liaison between our marketing contractors, leadership, our sales team, and the rest of the company. You will not manage people on day one, but this role is built to grow. As the marketing team expands, we want the person in this seat to grow with it, into a manager and eventually a head-of-marketing role. You will report to our marketing lead and work directly with our CEO. Your performance will be measured against clear KPIs and OKRs we'll set together, so you'll always know what success looks like. What You'll Do Execute marketing campaigns across CRM, email, and social media Own inbound: website, SEO, and emerging GEO/LLM search Run and coordinate paid media, briefing and managing contractors where needed Support PR, events, and offline/field marketing Build and manage marketing assets and content Track performance, analyze results, and use data to improve what's working Keep marketing, sales, and leadership aligned and moving in one direction What We’re Looking For Experience 2+ years in marketing Skills Proven ability to execute successful marketing across channels: CRM, email, social media, inbound (website, SEO, GEO/LLM), paid, PR, and events/offline Strong analytical skills and a data-driven approach Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proficiency with marketing software and tools Attributes Creative thinker with a strategic mindset Collaborative and easy to work with Adaptable in a fast-paced, evolving industry Why This Role A real growth path.
